Weinprop has 100 employees headed up by professionals with strong functional experience in their respective portfolios. The management team have a clear strategy to achieve the company’s short and long-term goals by holding themselves mutually accountable. The management team have embraced innovation and technology to augment our human capital and this has ensured stability and continuity over the past 2 years.
Weinprop’s CEO has a B.Com and B. Acc degrees from the University of Witwatersrand. He is a philanthropist and respected leader, and has managed the family owned business for 30 years, ensuring its future growth and prosperity. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, and also serves as a Director for several other companies.
Chief Operations Officer( Retail & Commercial) is a Chartered Accountant who completed his articles with Ernst & Young. He was employed for 10 years in private equity before he joined Weinprop.
Chief Operations & Development Officer (Residential) holds a BSc in Property Development. He has extensive property development experience, and has been instrumental in growing the current Weinprop residential portfolio. Having gained skills in project feasibility and budgeting from his experiences at African and Rand Merchant Bank. He has been able to identify and manage the acquisition of high yield, multi-disciplinary projects.
Chief Financial Officer (Residential) joined Weinprop in 2019. He completed his articles at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and has worked at KPMG and Standard Bank prior to joining the company. He brings strong corporate governance and tight financial oversight to the accounting function with his experience honed from having served in a listed company environment for many years.
Chief Financial Officer (Retail & Commercial) is also a Chartered Accountant who worked for Pricewaterhouse Coopers before joining Weinprop and she brings strong institutional knowledge of the Weinprop methodology having worked alongside the CEO for over 15 years.
Weinprop’s Group HR Manager is the most recent addition to the management team. She has an MSc in Forensic Psychology and has over 25 years’ experience across industries, including international management consulting firms, Accenture and T-Systems.
The Head of Building Management qualified as an Architect at Wits and did his Honours at UJ and has project managed some of the many residential housing and retail developments.
